Happy 2019 everyone. I hope it’s a good one for all you fellow riders and that you and your horses stay happy and healthy.
My last show of 2018 was Arena UK Premier. History qualified for the Winter grade C and Ascon Z qualified for the Blue Chip B & C so happy days!
After Arena we decided to turn History away so he could have a short, but well deserved holiday.
My main aim for January will be to prepare for Sentower in Belgium. I plan to go there towards the end of the month.
With a bit of luck I’ll have Dakota ready to jump for that show as well as Ascon and History.
Before that I have Onley Premier in the next day or two. So I’m busy cleaning horses, tack and the lorry.
I’m hoping 2019 will be another successful year for me and the team. I love the fact that January brings a promise of longer days just around the corner. So here’s hoping for the snow to hold off this year!!
On another note I’ve got to add in a comment on Olympia’s World cup. Wow! What a nail biting jump off. It’s great to watch 18 such talented riders in the jump off. It’s always lovely to see British riders win and Will Whitaker’s round was stunning. I learnt a lot, he was so smooth and balanced. It was fantastic to watch.
On that note I’m heading back outside to crack on. Good luck with your 2019 goals !
